RPDG recognizes that blight infects the minds of those trapped by it and eventually destroys civic pride. We strive to restore civic pride and encourage community members to take responsibility for effects of ignoring "blight" in their communities. In partnership with local organizations, RPDG offers seminars on how to recognize blight in your neighborhood and fight against its damaging effects. We can help plan community events, support clean-up projects or help create forums for giving your community a voice.

RPDG helps clarify the causes of blight and seeks to encourage community members to get involved in saving their neighborhoods from the devastating effects of complacency and neglect.

Economics plays a leading role in the vitality of a community. RPDG encourages careful Educational/Vocational planning to insure economic self-sufficiency. Working with local agencies, RPDG offers educational planning assitance for youth considering college after high school. We also help youth and  adults develop job skills that are critical and securing and retaining employment. For entrepreneurs, we facilitate small business development training. RPDG works diligently to help individuals find the economic path that best fits their skills and needs.

In the aftermath of wars abroad many soldiers return home and find returning to a "regular" lifestyle very challenging. It is likewise with those individuals who have been previously incarcerated or hospitalized for long periods of time. RPDG attempts to facilitate transition back into mainstream society by helping with support groups, life planning seminars and vocational restructuring. Partnerships with local agencies help support the process and can make the transition less stressful for those seeking to live a normal life once again.
